Small Angle Scattering (SAS)

SAS is a powerful elastic scattering technique that allows us to quantify the size and volume fraction of secondary phases or voids, of size between several nanometres and several 100 nanometres.

In SAS we use the scattering at low angles; the technique can be used using x-rays (SAXS) or neutrons (SANS).
